Our files are designed for strength, flexibility and good looks in any office setting. In fact, the components have been tested to accept a 125-pound load, which exceeds ANSI/BIFMA X5.2-1989 standards for lateral files. 2 drawers; 18 or 20 gauge steel shell; seamless lock and top with reinforced corners; 20 gauge steel drawer fronts with full-width flush inset pulls and label holder; roll-out shelves with screw-mounted fronts to build drawers; roll-out shelf body slotted on 1 or 1-1/2 inch centers to accept dividers; notched shelf ends to accept hanging folder bars; two heavy-duty, three-section, ball-bearing suspensions on shelves; high security, single bit locks with removable and interchangeable plugs and key alike option; electrostatically-applied epoxy powder coating to resist chemicals and scrapes. SAFETY: Information contained on peel-off label on cabinet fronts; permanent labels affixed to left side of each drawer. When first loading the files please remember to start with the bottom drawer. INSTALLATION: Explained in Users Guide shipped with each file. STABILITY: To insure your safety, we are now adding counter weights in all our lateral files to eliminate the danger of tipping when loaded.
