Dear VIP Customer.

Due to extreme inflationary pressures on raw materials and transportation, Virginia Correctional Enterprises will require a 50% deposit on all VCE projects totaling over $500,000, starting July 1, 2023.

The remaining balance due will continue to be paid under current VCE terms. No split-ordering will be accepted in order to artificially place orders under the $500K threshold.

ACA Accreditation

Virginia Correctional Enterprises (VCE) is proud to report that the Commission on Accreditation of the American Correctional Association (ACA) voted to fully re-accredit VCE for three years on January 6, 2024.

ACA accreditation is part of VCE’s commitment to excellence through continuous improvement and ongoing compliance with the ACA Performance-Based Standards for Correctional Industries which address expected practices in correctional industries and include life, health, and safety standards as it pertains to staff and inmates.

The ACA Accreditation process promotes improvement in the management of correctional agencies through the administration of a voluntary accreditation program and the ongoing development and revision of relevant, useful standards. The standards, created and continuously refined by the ACA, represent leading correctional policies, procedures, and practices across all areas of operation.

SCS Indoor Advantage Gold Certification

Virginia Correctional Enterprises is proud to announce that we have earned four SCS Indoor Advantage Gold Certifications. This is an honor that we are very proud to be able to showcase as we continue to work tirelessly to become an environmentally conscious company.

Certified Indoor Air Quality

An SCS Indoor Advantage Gold certification ensures that our facilities provide a healthy indoor environment by meeting the strict indoor air quality (IAQ) chemical emission limits of SCS' Indoor Advantage and Indoor Advantage Gold programs.

I have recently attended several meetings wearing our new summer uniform, both on and off campus, and have received many compliments. I have proudly told others that this was a Virginia Correctional Enterprises project and that we have been completely satisfied with the quality and service of VCE.
